About Orchids The International School Malad West

Orchids The International School Malad West was established in 2015 with a motto to provide premium quality education to the students of Nursery to X. The curriculum is designed according to the guidelines set by CBSE and is also inspired by Central Academic and Research Team (CART). It has a student-teacher ratio of 12:1 and helps students in understanding the concepts in a proper way. Its campus is spread over an area of 1 acre and offers a good learning environment to its students. The school believes in the philosophy of SHARPER- Self-discipline, Hardwork, Applied Science, Research, Physical Fitness, Exposure, and Reflective Thinking. The school believes in  “Shaping minds, Touching lives, Building Second Homes”.

The Orchids The International School Malad West focuses on a lot of things along with academics so that the students can have holistic development and develop new interests. Robotics is a part of the school curriculum so that students can learn skills according to the changing trends. Students are taught maths and science in a way that they can improve their scientific temperament. The school also focuses a lot on inclusive learning. It has a channel and a radio program that helps students in learning about different media activities like writing, anchoring, editing, and other than that it also helps in developing public-speaking skills. 

Students are encouraged to take part in different sports like cricket, football, chess, badminton, athletics, and various others. Cultural events are organized from time to time so that students can take part in activities like dancing, singing, acting, and painting and explore their creative sides.
