Kulachi Hansraj Model School is one of the institutions of DAV and was established in 1972. The curriculum of the school is designed according to the guideline of CBSE and is modified according to the changing needs of the world. It focuses a lot on vocational education and skills development. It is a co-education school that offers education from classes Nursery to XII. The motto of the school is ‘Asto Ma Sadogamaya’ as it wants to spread the light of education in the lives of thousands. The campus of the school is disabled-friendly, has an urban infrastructure, and is spread over an area of 5.12 acres. With a student-teacher ratio of 22:1, the school ensures that enough attention is given to each student and they are able to understand what’s being taught in the classroom.

They have their duties assigned for the year which helps students in learning different skills and also promote leadership skills. The school has separate clubs for primary and secondary wings so that students can enroll according to their interests. The primary wing has a Shakespear Club, Thread and Yarn Club, Jhankaar Club, eco club, healthy bites, fit and fab club, aerobics club, maths club, and many others. Clubs that the senior wing has, rotary club, cyber club, space club, reading club, photography club, enterprise club, Atal tinker club, and more such clubs. The school also offers a lot of performing arts and creative arts to the students.
