Happy Model School was established in 1976 with the motto “TAMSO MA JYOTIRGAMAYA”. It is a co-educational institution that offers students of classes Nursery to XII a platform to express themselves. The curriculum of the school is designed according to the guidelines set by CBSE and special focus is given to the motor development of pre-primary children. It has an urban-type campus spread over an area of 4 acres and has a lot of the latest facilities for its students. Nurturing minds and building them for the future is the aim of the school. With a student-teacher ratio of 18:1, the school makes sure that all the students are able to understand what teachers are teaching.

The school is very active in community service as well as it has taken part in programs like Clean India Campaign, Anti-Tobacco Drive, Prevention from Dengue, Chikungunia, and Malaria, Run for Unity, Clean City campaign, Tree plantation Drive, Developing & Maintaining Community Park, Visit Old Age Homes, and Orphanages. This helps in developing a sense of responsibility towards the community among students.
