Delhi Nursery Admission 2023-24

The state government released a circular on Monday, declaring that admission to private nursery schools for the academic year 2023-24 in the national capital and the NCR region will commence from 1 December 2022. Documents for Admission Proof for Delhi Nursery Admission 2023-24

• Aadhar Card/UID card issued in the name of any of the parents
• Ration Card/Smart Card issued in the name of parents(carrying the child’s name)
• Domicile Certificate of child or parents
• Electricity Bill/MTNL Phone Bill/Water Bill/Passport in the name of the parents or the child
• Voter I-Card(EPIC) of one of the parents

Age Limit for School Admission

Age is an important criterion in Nursery School admissions. Mentioned below are all the age-related points that you need to keep in mind:

It is important for parents to note that the head of the school can grant an age relaxation of 30 days on the upper age limit and lower age limit of these classes. Admission Criteria for Delhi Nursery Admission 2023-24

• DOE will release an official notification about the commencement of the process for the year 2023-2024 on their official website (www.edudel.nic.in)
• The schools will upload their criteria and points
• On the stated date by DOE, Nursery admission forms will be available on the school website
• The submission of duly filled forms by parents before the said closing date
• Schools upload the details of children who have applied for admission under Open seats.
• Uploading of marks(as per point system) allotted to children.
• The first list of children who have been chosen, along with the waiting list and the marks assigned to them, will be shown.
• The parents have eight days to get their questions about their child’s marks in the first list answered.
• The display of the second list of the chosen children, together with the waiting list and the marks assigned to them based on the point system.
• Resolving parent queries regarding marks allotment to their child.
• The display of the subsequent admission list, if there is any new list.
• Closure of the admission process.

It is important for parents to note that, in the presence of the parents and while being recorded, the drawing of lots will be done in an open and transparent manner. The school will keep the footage. Before the name slip for each child is placed in the drawing box, the parents are permitted to see it.

Delhi Nursery Admissions 2023-24 for Schools
